SONOS x Gorillaz
Amsterdam Brand Activation
For the launch of their new home audio speaker PlayBase, Sonos partnered with Gorillaz to create a sensory experience that feels like “you’re waking up in Gorillaz heaven.” The new album comes after a seven year absence, and the launch coincided with the release of the new speaker - an opportunity to present the power of music together with the cartoon worlds Gorillaz are known for.
The Spirit House installation comprised of a recreation of the virtual Gorillaz house and an audio-visual experience featuring the music videos of newly released tracks from the album “Humanz.”
The Spirit House was launched in Brooklyn on April 21st, followed by Berlin (28.04. - 30.04.) and Amsterdam on May 6th.
The original concept was developed by the New York agency Cornerstone and produced by Pro-Ject.
The Adventures Of was responsible for the production, in partnership with Backbone International and the media + influencer strategy for The Spirit House in Amsterdam.
